Books that adapt
to every reader.
Leafbook publishes Leafbooks — ebooks built on an open format where short interactive sections, called Leaves, reshape themselves around the reader.
“The room smelled like the kind of evening you grew up callinghome— and the door, when it opened, opened onto exactly that.”
rewritten for: a reader who answered "rain on a tin roof"
Every Leafbook sold on this site is written, published, and sold by [Your Legal Name]. Leafbook is a single-author digital publisher — not a marketplace.
Chapter I
What is a Leafbook?
ALeafbook is a digital book published in the open .ppb format — Personalizable Paper Book. It reads like a normal ebook, but the author can mark passages as Leaves: short sections the AI quietly rewrites for each reader, within strict boundaries the author defines.
The story stays the author's. The voice stays the author's. What changes are the small things — the example that fits your life, the metaphor that lands for you, the ending tone that matches the kind of evening you're having.
Chapter II
What is a Leaf?
Three small moments, repeated quietly throughout a book.
Author plants it
The author writes a Leaf — a passage plus a question, a tone, and rules for how the AI may rephrase it.
Reader answers
You answer in a sentence or two. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it.
The page reshapes
The Leaf rewrites itself within the author's boundaries — same beats, your colors.
Chapter III
About the author
Leafbook is the publishing imprint of [Your Legal Name]. I'm writing the first Leafbooks myself — fiction and non-fiction — to prove out the format before anyone else is invited to publish on it.
That means, for now, every transaction on this site is between you and me. I own the rights to what I publish, I handle support and refunds personally, and you can reach me directly at support@myleafbook.com.
Chapter IV
What's coming
First
The first Leafbook ships, sold directly here. Single download plus the interactive Leaf reader in the browser.
Then
A small library of Leafbooks — all written by me — covering a handful of genres so the format gets tested honestly.
Later
The .ppb format and its tooling will be opened up so other authors can publish their own Leafbooks. That's a separate launch.
